Erase Uninstalled Application From Add and Remove Program List

Sometimes if we uninstall an application from Windows, the application name still listed in the Add Remove Program list, although everything connected to the application such as shortcut, file and folder has been erased for your hard drive. Don't worry, there is always away to handle this kind of situation.
Before we go on with this, please remember that I'm not responsible if something goes wrong with your PC. Always backup your Windows Registry before doing these steps.
To clean what’s left behind you have to use Registry Editor (Regedit). Open Regedit from Start -> Run, and type "regedit" (without quotes). In the Regedit window, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Uninstall key, you'll see a lot of entry in it. To know which one belongs to the application you are trying to erase from the Add Remove Program list, you have to check those entries one by one (sorry folks...).
Browse those entry and watch for sub entry called "Display Name" value that contain the application name you are trying to erase in it and then erase that sub entry. To get things clear for you, let me show you an example. If you are trying to erase Dreamweaver 8 from the Add Remove Program list, you have to erase "{0837A661-FEC3-48B3-876C-91E7D32048A9}" entry, because it's "Display Name" sub entry value contains Dreamweaver 8 in it.

After you done erasing the sub entry, close Regedit and then restart your Windows.
